Terms of Service

1. The Service

Starfort helps you discover publicly available social discussions that may be relevant to your product and draft reply text you can edit and post yourself. Starfort is a workflow and drafting tool. We do not post on social platforms on your behalf.

Starfort is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Reddit, Inc. or any other social platform. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their owners. You are responsible for your own activity on those platforms and for complying with their rules and applicable laws.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. Provide accurate account information and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid features require an active subscription processed through our payment provider. Prices, trial length, and included limits are shown at checkout and may change for new subscribers with reasonable notice. You may cancel through the billing portal; cancellation stops future charges but does not automatically refund prior periods unless required by law.

If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. By starting a paid subscription and requesting immediate access to digital features, you acknowledge that performance begins right away and your withdrawal right may be lost once you use the Service during the withdrawal period, to the extent permitted by law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or deceptive marketing
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate others
• Violate the rules of any social platform or community you engage with
• Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures
• Reverse engineer, resell, or scrape the Service itself
• Create automated accounts or abuse free tiers to harm the Service or its providers
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

AI-generated drafts are starting points only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to post any content.

5. Third-party services

The Service may surface links and excerpts from third-party websites and relies on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, payments, search, AI, and communications. We do not control third-party sites or policies. Your use of third parties is governed by their terms.

6. Intellectual property

We own the Service, including its software, design, and branding. You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely to operate the Service.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT SCANS WILL FIND LEADS, THAT DRAFTS WILL BE ACCURATE, OR THAT POSTING WILL PRODUCE SALES, ENGAGEMENT, OR ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STARFORT AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive will survive termination.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.

You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Delaware for disputes arising from these Terms or the Service, except where prohibited by applicable law.
